Our History​

The Swimming Teachers Association of Malaysia (STAM) thrive as a non-profit organization which dedicates itself to promoting aquatic education programs to enhance life-saving, water safety and drowning prevention awareness to the general public

STAM envisions a nation where everybody enjoys quality aquatic education with safe practices.

Mission

To ensure all Malaysian Swimming Teachers or Aquatic Educators are professionally certified teachers
To introduce aquatic education programmes to all age group.
To be acknowledged as a world class Swimming Teachers’ Association​
To promote and create awareness on drowning prevention and aquatic water safety to the public.
Our History

How We Started

2003

Our founder started Aquatic Star Academy Sdn. Bhd. (ASA).

2007

The formation of Swimming Teachers’ Association of Malaysia (STAM).

2015

STAM was incorporated on the 30th October 2015.

2016

Granted membership of International Federation of Swimming Teachers’ Association (IFSTA), UK.
